A compounding pharmacy located in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a contract position until the facility obtains its California license. This opportunity offers the chance to lead pharmacy operations and apply your expertise in sterile compounding within a specialized setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing all pharmacy operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform compounding pharmacist duties, preparing sterile medications with accuracy and adherence to protocols.
• Coordinate with the team to maintain high-quality standards and patient safety.
• Assist in the preparation for and support of the facility’s California licensing process.

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida and California pharmacist licenses.
• At least 1 year of recent experience in sterile compounding pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and sterile compounding regulations.
• Detail-oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills.
