Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Bronx, New York

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to support a 340B pharmacy setting in a key interim role. This onsite position will be based in California and New York with final location details pending, offering a contract duration of 3 to 6 months. The schedule consists of day and afternoon shifts.

This role calls for a seasoned professional prepared to assume full PIC responsibilities, stepping in seamlessly should a current PIC resign. The ideal candidate will hold active pharmacist licenses in multiple states, with a preference for those licensed in AK, AL, AR, CA, IA, ID, IL, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, OR, TN, TX, VA, and WV.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist in Charge
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations
• Manage and support pharmacy staff to maintain quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for 340B program requirements
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers and internal teams

Desired Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist licensure in multiple states, ideally among the listed states
• Proven experience serving as a Pharmacist in Charge within 340B or similar environments
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new teams and processes in interim assignments
