An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to provide interim leadership in a 340B pharmacy setting. This position requires multiple state licenses and the readiness to step in promptly should a current PIC resign. The assignment offers a 3 to 6-month contract with onsite presence required, primarily in locations including California and New York.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume full PIC duties ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy operations.
  • Oversee pharmacy staff and workflow to maintain high standards of pharmaceutical care.
  • Manage quality assurance processes and ensure adherence to 340B program guidelines.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and stakeholders to optimize patient outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active pharmacist licenses in multiple states, including but not limited to: AK, AL, AR, CA, IA, ID, IL, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, OR, TN, TX, VA, and WV.
  • Strong leadership experience in pharmacy operations, specifically as a Pharmacist in Charge.
  • In-depth knowledge of 340B program regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Schedule:

  • Day and afternoon shifts, offering a consistent work schedule within the contract period.

This contract role provides a unique opportunity for pharmacists holding multiple state licenses to leverage their expertise in a pivotal interim position. Candidates must be prepared for onsite work and possess flexibility to engage across multiple locations as required.
