A 340b pharmacy is seeking an Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to provide leadership and oversight in the event of a PIC resignation. This contract role spans 3 to 6 months, primarily onsite in California and New York, with specific details being finalized. The position requires flexibility to work days and afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities include full PIC duties such as ensuring regulatory compliance, managing pharmacy operations, and supporting staff to maintain high standards of pharmaceutical care.

Ideal candidates will hold active pharmacist licenses in multiple states, with preference given to those licensed in several of the following: Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, California, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia. The ability to quickly step into interim PIC responsibilities across these regions is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Current pharmacist license(s) in multiple states listed above
  • Experience as a Pharmacist in Charge
  • Familiarity with 340b pharmacy operations and compliance
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and manage transitions effectively
