Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Camden, New Jersey

This role requires a bilingual Pharmacist in Charge with strong leadership and community pharmacy experience. The position offers contract or contract-to-hire options, working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, and Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Location: Camden, NJ
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Active and clear NJ pharmacy license
• Minimum 2 years of management experience
• At least 3 years recent community pharmacy experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
• Proficient with Pioneer RX pharmacy software

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure full regulatory compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws
• Lead investigations into any improper pharmacy activities
• Manage, train, and supervise pharmacy staff including pharmacists and technicians
• Develop, implement, and enforce policies related to medication dispensing, safety, and security
• Maintain accurate inventory records and proper controlled substance storage
• Implement patient safety and quality assurance programs, including patient counseling and performance improvements

Additional Details:

• Prescription volume averages 20-25 scripts per day
• Supported by a reliable pharmacy technician team
