An exceptional opportunity is available for an experienced bilingual Pharmacist in Charge to oversee pharmacy operations in Camden, NJ. This role requires a strong leader with a commitment to regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and patient safety. The position is a contract role with potential for contract-to-hire or other arrangements.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the pharmacy complies with all state and federal regulations, including investigating any improper activities.
  • Manage, train, and supervise all pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to medication dispensing, safety, and security.
  • Oversee inventory management to maintain accurate records and proper storage of medications, especially controlled substances.
  • Lead quality assurance and performance improvement programs, provide patient counseling, and promote patient safety.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active and clear New Jersey pharmacist license.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ management experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • 3+ years of recent community pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Proficiency with Pioneer RX computer system is a plus.
  • Experience managing a pharmacy with a daily volume of approximately 20-25 prescriptions.
  • Strong technical support and problem-solving capabilities.
