Location: Camden, NJ
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
- Lead investigations into any improper activity within the pharmacy
- Manage, train, and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians
- Develop and enforce operational policies related to medication dispensing, safety, and security
- Oversee inventory management, with a focus on accurate record-keeping and secure storage of medications, especially controlled substances
- Implement quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Provide patient counseling and promote patient safety programs
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active and clear New Jersey pharmacist license
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a pharmacy setting
- At least 3 years of recent experience in community pharmacy
- Proficiency with Pioneer RX computer system
- Strong bilingual skills in Spanish and English
- Ability to effectively handle a daily prescription volume of 20-25 scripts
- Experience working with pharmacy technicians and providing technical support
