A leadership opportunity is available for a bilingual (Spanish/English) Pharmacist in Charge responsible for overseeing pharmacy operations and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role requires strong management skills and experience in community pharmacy, supporting a daily prescription volume of 20-25 scripts.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 6 PM
  • Saturday: 9 AM – 1 PM

Location: Camden, NJ

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws, conducting investigations into any improper activities
  • Manage, train, and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, fostering a cohesive team environment
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to maintain medication dispensing safety, security, and operational efficiency
  • Oversee inventory control, maintain accurate medication records, and ensure proper storage, especially for controlled substances
  • Implement quality assurance initiatives and performance improvement programs focused on patient safety and counseling

Qualifications:

  • Active and clear NJ pharmacist license required
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Prefer 3+ years recent community pharmacy experience
  • Proficiency with Pioneer RX pharmacy software
  • Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English
