Pharmacist in Charge in Carson City, NV

This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to provide interim leadership for a well-established pharmacy in Reno, NV. The role involves overseeing pharmacy operations and ensuring compliance with Nevada Board of Pharmacy regulations during a 6-8 week contract period.

Responsibilities:

• Assume full responsibilities as Pharmacist in Charge according to Nevada BOP standards
• Lead daily pharmacy operations, supervision, and team coordination
• Manage workflow efficiently alongside an experienced pharmacy technician team
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
• Maintain accurate records and support inventory management

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in Nevada
• Eligible and willing to serve as Pharmacist in Charge with NV Board of Pharmacy
• Proven leadership experience in a pharmacy setting
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices
• Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Location: Reno, NV

This contract requires immediate availability to start on Monday, May 11, with a commitment of 6-8 weeks. The pharmacy has an experienced technician team in place to support the Pharmacist in Charge during this period.
