Pharmacist in Charge - Chandler, AZ

A growing non-sterile compounding mail-order pharmacy is seeking a hands-on Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to join their team in a direct hire capacity. This leadership role combines pharmacy operations with active dispensing, patient counseling, and regulatory compliance in a dynamic environment focused on expanding national coverage. The ideal candidate will support West Coast licensure priorities to complement existing East Coast operations.

Location:

• Gilbert, AZ or West Egg Township/Galloway, NJ

Qualifications:

• Pharmacist licensed in Arizona or New Jersey (depending on location)
• 3–5 years of pharmacy experience
• Previous PIC or pharmacy management experience preferred
• Strong preference for mail-order, outpatient, community, or compounding pharmacy background
• Deep knowledge of state and federal regulations for a 503A facility
• West Coast licenses (CA, NM, TX, NV, UT, OR, WA, CO) highly preferred
• Experience with PioneerRx a plus (training available)

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions while providing patient counseling and superior service
• Oversee pharmacy staff and ensure adherence to SOPs, USP, FDA 503A compliance
• Manage inventory and controlled substances securely with proper documentation
• Maintain regulatory compliance across multiple states served by the pharmacy
• Handle patient inquiries with professionalism and care

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional weekend coverage as the operation grows

This direct hire opportunity offers an approximate annual salary between $145,000 and $156,000, commensurate with experience. Relocation assistance is not authorized; therefore, candidates local to Gilbert, AZ or West Egg Township/Galloway, NJ are strongly encouraged to apply.
