This opportunity invites an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to oversee a well-established community pharmacy in Cherry Hill, NJ. The role offers flexibility with contract or contract-to-hire options, supporting a balanced work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, plus Saturdays 9 AM to 1 PM.

Key qualifications include an active and clear New Jersey pharmacist license and a strong background in community pharmacy with at least two years in a management role. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is essential to serve the diverse patient population effectively. Familiarity with Pioneer RX software and handling a daily prescription volume of 20-25 will support smooth operational performance. Solid technical support is available to enhance workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities encompass ensuring strict adherence to all state and federal pharmacy regulations, investigating any improper activities as needed. The role demands hands-on leadership in training and supervising pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians. Establishing and enforcing policies around medication dispensing, safety, and security will be a central function. Accurate inventory management, especially concerning controlled substances, is critical to maintaining compliance and patient safety. Additionally, emphasis will be placed on patient counseling, quality assurance, and continuous performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active, clear NJ pharmacist license
  • Minimum 2 years management experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Preferred 3+ years recent experience within community pharmacy
  • Bilingual Spanish/English speaking
  • Proficient with Pioneer RX software
  • Comfortable managing a daily volume of 20-25 prescriptions

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM
  • Saturday, 9 AM – 1 PM
