Lead the operations of a busy community pharmacy as the Pharmacist in Charge, guiding regulatory compliance, staff supervision, and patient safety initiatives. Location: Cherry Hill, NJ
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all state and federal pharmacy laws, managing investigations and compliance activities.
- Oversee the training, supervision, and performance of pharmacists and technicians to maintain high service standards.
- Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures related to medication dispensing, safety, and security.
- Manage medication inventory with emphasis on accuracy and compliance, particularly controlled substances.
- Lead patient safety and quality assurance efforts, including counseling and performance improvement programs.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and clear New Jersey pharmacist license.
- Minimum of 2 years management experience within a pharmacy setting.
- At least 3 years recent community pharmacy experience preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is essential.
- Familiarity with Pioneer RX software and good technical support available.
- Comfortable managing approximately 20-25 prescriptions daily.
