Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations, taking lead on investigations related to improper activities.
- Manage, train, and supervise pharmacy staff including pharmacists and technicians to maintain a cohesive, efficient team.
- Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures focused on medication dispensing, safety, and security.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate records and proper storage, especially for controlled substances.
- Promote patient safety and quality care through performance improvement programs, patient counseling, and quality assurance initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Active and clear New Jersey Pharmacist license
- Minimum of 2 years’ management experience within a pharmacy setting
- At least 3 years of recent community pharmacy experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong communication skills
- Familiarity with Pioneer RX pharmacy computer system
- Comfortable handling a prescription volume of 20-25 scripts per day
- Ability to utilize good technical support resources effectively
