Step into a leadership role as a Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing daily pharmacy operations and ensuring top-quality patient care. This position offers flexibility with contract, contract-to-hire, or other employment arrangements, tailored to your career goals.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Location: Cherry Hill, NJ

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations, taking lead on investigations related to improper activities.
  • Manage, train, and supervise pharmacy staff including pharmacists and technicians to maintain a cohesive, efficient team.
  • Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures focused on medication dispensing, safety, and security.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate records and proper storage, especially for controlled substances.
  • Promote patient safety and quality care through performance improvement programs, patient counseling, and quality assurance initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active and clear New Jersey Pharmacist license
  • Minimum of 2 years’ management experience within a pharmacy setting
  • At least 3 years of recent community pharmacy experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with Pioneer RX pharmacy computer system
  • Comfortable handling a prescription volume of 20-25 scripts per day
  • Ability to utilize good technical support resources effectively
