This role offers an opportunity to serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a specialty home infusion pharmacy. Operating in a low-volume, newly established pharmacy, you will be responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance and maintaining high standards until a permanent PIC is found. This per diem position requires a commitment to daytime hours for approximately 8 weeks, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Location: Chicopee, MA
Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Duration: 8 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring all pharmacy operations comply with state and federal regulations
  • Maintain and display PIC license prominently in the pharmacy
  • Oversee day-to-day pharmacy functions in a specialty home infusion setting
  • Support the pharmacy team during the startup phase of the new location
  • Collaborate closely with management to facilitate a smooth transition to a permanent PIC

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Pharmacist in Charge
  • Valid Massachusetts pharmacy license
  • Background in home infusion, specialty infusion, or specialty pharmacy is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and pharmacy operations
  • Excellent attention to detail and leadership skills
