Per Diem Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Chicopee, Massachusetts

This Per Diem opportunity is ideal for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge seeking a part-time role within a specialty home infusion pharmacy. Serving in a new, low-volume pharmacy environment, the position requires leadership to maintain compliance and oversee daily operations until a permanent candidate is secured.

Location: Chicopee, MA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Duration: Approximately 8 weeks

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), ensuring all regulatory requirements and standards are met
• Officially assume PIC responsibilities by hanging the pharmacy license
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations in a newly established home infusion setting
• Support the transition and provide leadership until a permanent PIC is identified

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Pharmacist in Charge, ideally within specialty or home infusion pharmacies
• Active Massachusetts pharmacy license required
• Background in home infusion, specialty infusion, or specialty pharmacy highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and pharmacy operational procedures
