A leadership opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist with expertise in long-term care (LTC) pharmacy operations. This role is based in Cibolo, TX, offering a direct hire position within a closed-door LTC pharmacy setting. The pharmacist will play a critical part in overseeing pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting quality patient care in nursing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with LTC regulations including CMS, DEA, and state board requirements specific to nursing facilities
  • Manage pharmacy workflows such as eMAR systems, cycle fills, and medication cart processes
  • Utilize LTC pharmacy software platforms like PrimeCare, DocuTrack, TCGRx, and Parata to optimize pharmacy operations
  • Collaborate effectively with consultant pharmacists and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Lead operational initiatives while maintaining focus on supporting long-term care residents

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven expertise in LTC pharmacy environments, with prior experience strongly preferred in long-term care or closed-door pharmacies
  • Deep understanding of LTC regulatory requirements and pharmacy systems
  • Proficiency with eMAR, cycle fills, and LTC medication distribution workflows
  • Familiarity with consultant pharmacist roles and interdisciplinary communication

Education & Licensure:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
  • Active Texas Registered Pharmacist license mandatory

Benefits & Compensation:

  • Annual salary range of $135,000 – $150,000, dependent on experience
