An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist in Charge to oversee medication distribution and customer service within a retail and long-term care pharmacy setting. This contract role is based in Watertown, South Dakota, with an initial duration of 8 to 13 weeks, potentially extending longer. The scheduled hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute medications prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Educate customers on medication use and provide relevant information.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations as Pharmacist in Charge.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid South Dakota pharmacist license is required.
- Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and superior customer care.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
