A high-volume retail and mail-order pharmacy in Clearwater, Florida is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge to join their team on a part-time basis for a 13-week contract. This role offers a flexible schedule with shifts primarily during the first shift, with options to accommodate days or mid shifts to suit the candidate’s availability. The pharmacy processes between 1,000 and 1,500 prescriptions daily, providing a dynamic and fast-paced work environment supported by DRx software systems.

Location: Clearwater, Florida
Term: 13 weeks (immediate start)
Schedule:

• Part-time, approximately 20-24 hours per week
• 1st shift (flexible between day and mid shifts)

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately to ensure patient safety
• Handle inbound calls from patients and physician offices regarding medication inquiries
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist licenses in both Florida and California
• Minimum of one year of experience as a pharmacist
