This position offers an opportunity for a bilingual Pharmacist in Charge to oversee pharmacy operations with a focus on compliance, staff management, and patient safety in a community pharmacy setting. The role supports a prescription volume of 20-25 scripts daily using Pioneer RX software.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • Active and clear New Jersey pharmacist license
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience
  • At least 3 years of recent community pharmacy experience preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full regulatory compliance with state and federal laws, including leading investigations into any improper activities
  • Manage, train, and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians
  • Develop and enforce policies related to medication dispensing, safety protocols, and security measures
  • Maintain precise inventory records and ensure appropriate storage, especially for controlled substances
  • Promote patient safety and quality by overseeing counseling services and quality assurance initiatives
