Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Clementon, New Jersey

A bilingual (Spanish/English) Pharmacist in Charge opportunity is available in Clementon, NJ, offering flexible employment types including contract, contract to hire, and full-time options. This role is ideal for an experienced pharmacy professional with strong leadership capabilities and a solid background in community pharmacy operations.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Responsibilities include overseeing regulatory compliance to ensure adherence to all state and federal laws, leading investigations into any improper activities, and providing effective supervision and training to a team of pharmacists and technicians. You will be expected to develop and enforce policies related to medication dispensing, safety, and security while maintaining accurate inventory records, especially for controlled substances. A critical aspect of this position involves implementing quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives, alongside patient counseling to promote safety and care.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear New Jersey pharmacist license
• Minimum of 2 years management experience in a pharmacy setting
• At least 3 years recent experience in community pharmacy preferred
• Ability to communicate fluently in both Spanish and English
• Proficiency with Pioneer RX computer system
• Comfortable managing a prescription volume of 20-25 scripts per day
