A pharmacy leadership opportunity is available for a bilingual Pharmacist in Charge with a strong background in community pharmacy. This role requires a dedicated professional to oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and high standards of patient care.

Location: Clementon, NJ
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the pharmacy complies with all state and federal regulations, leading investigations on any improper activities.
  • Manage, train, and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, promoting a cohesive team environment.
  • Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures related to medication dispensing, safety, and security.
  • Oversee inventory management, maintaining accurate medication records and proper storage practices, with particular attention to controlled substances.
  • Enhance patient safety by implementing quality assurance and performance improvement programs and providing patient counseling.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active and clear New Jersey pharmacist license.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ management experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • At least 3 years of recent community pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population.
  • Proficiency with Pioneer RX pharmacy computer system.

Additional Information:

  • Prescription volume averages 20-25 scripts per day, supported by a strong pharmacy technician team.
  • Open to contract, contract-to-hire, or other employment arrangements, providing flexibility to candidates.
