Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Clyde, Texas

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist In Charge to lead pharmacy operations with a commitment to quality and patient care. This contract position offers the chance to support a dynamic team and grow in your leadership role within the pharmacy sector.

Location: Abilene, TX
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist In Charge, overseeing daily pharmacy activities and compliance.
• Lead and mentor pharmacy staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain high standards in sterile and non-sterile compounding practices.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and licensing standards.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a positive work environment and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Hold a current Texas Pharmacist License, with willingness to acquire multiple state licenses over time.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed pharmacist.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacist In Charge is preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in sterile and non-sterile compounding.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire a team.
