A leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) at a 503A Compounding Pharmacy. This critical role carries full regulatory accountability and oversight of all sterile and non-sterile compounding operations, ensuring compliance with state, federal, FDA 503A, and USP standards. Serving as the highest-level pharmacy leader, the PIC will direct daily operations including prescription fulfillment, quality assurance, environmental monitoring, personnel training, and facility readiness.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the legally designated PIC for all non-resident state pharmacy licenses.
  • Act as the primary contact for Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Manage reporting of operational changes, ownership, facility modifications, and PIC transitions.
  • Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding operations.
  • Lead pharmacists, compounding supervisors, technicians, and production staff.
  • Review and approve batch records and ensure compliance with production schedules.
  • Support capacity planning, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Valid PA Pharmacist License.
  • Minimum of 5 years as PIC or Pharmacy Manager.
  • Deep knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, <800>, and relevant state/federal regulations for 503A.
  • Strong experience leading audits and managing regulatory inspections.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
  • Flexible Saturdays if needed.

  • Coatesville, PA
