A leading 503A compounding pharmacy is seeking a knowledgeable Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to oversee all aspects of sterile and non-sterile compounding operations. This role holds full regulatory accountability to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient fulfillment of prescriptions in strict adherence to state, federal, FDA 503A, and USP standards.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the legally designated PIC for all applicable non-resident state pharmacy licenses.
- Act as the primary liaison to Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure accurate reporting of operational changes, facility modifications, ownership, or PIC transitions.
- Lead and supervise pharmacists, compounding supervisors, technicians, and production personnel.
- Oversee daily batch record creation, execution, review, and approval processes.
- Support production scheduling for on-time delivery, inventory control, and capacity planning.
- Ensure ongoing quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Pharmacist-in-Charge or Pharmacy Manager.
- In-depth knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, <800>, and applicable state and federal regulations governing 503A compounding.
- Proven experience in leading audits and managing regulatory inspections.

- Kennett Square, Pennsylvania
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Flexible availability on Saturdays if needed.
