Pharmacist-in-Charge Opportunity – 503A Compounding Facility

This role offers a rewarding leadership position at a state-of-the-art 503A compounding pharmacy focused on sterile and non-sterile compounding operations. As the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), you will hold full accountability for regulatory compliance and the smooth, efficient execution of all pharmacy activities. This position is based in Coatesville, PA, with a contract-to-hire term of approximately 13 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the legally designated PIC for all non-resident state pharmacy licenses unless otherwise assigned
• Act as the primary liaison with Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies
• Ensure accurate reporting of operational, ownership, and facility changes, including PIC transitions
• Oversee all sterile and non-sterile compounding activities to maintain compliance and quality standards
• Lead pharmacists, supervisors, technicians, and production staff to optimize fulfillment operations
• Manage batch record creation, review, and approval processes daily
• Support production scheduling to meet delivery deadlines, maintain inventory accuracy, and plan capacity

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Flexible availability on Saturdays if required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a PIC or Pharmacy Manager
• Expertise in USP <795>, <797>, <800> standards and 503A regulatory requirements
• Proven experience navigating audits and regulatory inspections confidently
