This role is for a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) / Pharmacy Director at a 503A Compounding Pharmacy specializing in sterile and non-sterile compounding operations. Serving as the highest-level pharmacy leader, the PIC is fully accountable for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient prescription fulfillment and compounding activities. This position involves regulatory oversight and directing daily operations within a dynamic facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the legally designated PIC for all associated non-resident state pharmacy licenses.
  • Act as primary liaison for Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure timely reporting of operational, ownership, facility modifications, or PIC transition changes.
  • Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding operations with full compliance to state, federal, FDA 503A, and USP standards.
  • Lead quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Supervise pharmacists, supervisors, technicians, and production staff.
  • Manage daily batch record creation, execution, review, and approval processes.
  • Support production scheduling for on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and capacity planning.

Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pharmacist-in-Charge or Pharmacy Manager.
  • In-depth knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, <800>, and relevant state and federal regulations specific to 503A compounding.
  • Proven experience leading audits and managing regulatory inspections.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Flexibility to work Saturdays, if needed

Location: Coatesville, PA
