Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Coatesville, Pennsylvania

This opportunity is for a seasoned Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) / Pharmacy Director to lead a 503A compounding pharmacy, ensuring all operations meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency. The role is pivotal in overseeing the fulfillment of prescriptions and all sterile and non-sterile compounding processes within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the legally designated PIC for multiple non-resident state pharmacy licenses.
• Act as the primary liaison with Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of operational, ownership, or facility changes.
• Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding operations, maintaining strict adherence to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and supervise pharmacists, compounding supervisors, technicians, and production staff.
• Manage daily batch record workflows, including creation, review, and approval.
• Support production scheduling efforts to guarantee on-time delivery and proper inventory management.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pharmacist-in-Charge or Pharmacy Manager.
• Comprehensive knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, <800>, and pertinent state and federal regulations for 503A compounding pharmacy operations.
• Proven experience leading audits and navigating regulatory inspections successfully.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Flexibility to work Saturdays as needed.

• Based in Coatesville, Pennsylvania.
