Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Cottonwood, California

This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to oversee a community center pharmacy on an interim basis. You will play a critical role in supervising pharmacy technicians, ensuring smooth operations, and collaborating closely with healthcare providers to deliver outstanding patient care.

Position Details:

• Location: Cottonwood, CA
• Start Date: ASAP, full-time beginning 6/29
• Duration: 6-8 weeks or until a permanent placement is secured
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Act as Interim Pharmacist in Charge, managing the daily pharmacy operations within the community center
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain high workflow efficiency and accuracy
• Work directly with providers to support medication management and patient care initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy best practices

Desired Experience:

• Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred to handle fast-paced and patient-centered environments
• Leadership skills to effectively guide and support pharmacy technicians
• Willingness to quickly learn and use the New Leaf pharmacy system (training available)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare teams
