Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Cottonwood, California

Take on a crucial role as an interim Pharmacist in Charge overseeing a community center pharmacy. This position offers an opportunity to lead pharmacy operations, supervise pharmacy technicians, and collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the interim Pharmacist in Charge managing daily pharmacy activities
• Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians
• Work closely with center providers to support patient medication needs
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards
• Utilize the New Leaf pharmacy system (training provided for those unfamiliar)

Desired Experience:

• Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred to smoothly transition into this role
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a pharmacy setting is beneficial
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and manage responsibilities independently

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Start date: ASAP with an official start on June 29th
• Duration: Approximately 6 to 8 weeks or until a permanent pharmacist placement is found
