This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to oversee a community center pharmacy on an interim basis. You will play a critical role in supervising pharmacy technicians, ensuring smooth operations, and collaborating closely with healthcare providers to deliver outstanding patient care.
Position Details:
- Location: Cottonwood, CA
- Start Date: ASAP, full-time beginning 6/29
- Duration: 6-8 weeks or until a permanent placement is secured
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Act as Interim Pharmacist in Charge, managing the daily pharmacy operations within the community center
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain high workflow efficiency and accuracy
- Work directly with providers to support medication management and patient care initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy best practices
Desired Experience:
- Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred to handle fast-paced and patient-centered environments
- Leadership skills to effectively guide and support pharmacy technicians
- Willingness to quickly learn and use the New Leaf pharmacy system (training available)
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare teams
