Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Cottonwood, California

An immediate opening is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge to oversee operations at a community center pharmacy. This contract position begins as soon as possible, with training scheduled mid to late next week, and a full-time commitment starting on June 29th. The assignment is expected to last 6-8 weeks or until a permanent placement is secured.

Location: Cottonwood, CA
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Interim Pharmacist in Charge, managing day-to-day pharmacy operations
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy in dispensing
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers at the center to support patient care
• Utilize the New Leaf pharmacy system; training provided if needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Recent retail pharmacy experience required
• Demonstrated leadership ability in pharmacy or similar healthcare settings
• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with strong technician support
