Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Cottonwood, California

An urgent need exists for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee a community center pharmacy located in Cottonwood, CA. This full-time contract position will start ASAP with training scheduled for mid to late next week, and a full working schedule beginning June 29. The assignment is expected to last 6-8 weeks or until a permanent placement is found.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Interim PIC, managing day-to-day pharmacy operations.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with center healthcare providers to support patient care.
• Utilize the New Leaf pharmacy system; training will be provided if needed.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Recent experience in retail pharmacy settings.
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced community pharmacy environment.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new pharmacy systems and processes.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
