An urgent opening is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead operations at a community center pharmacy. This full-time position begins with training in mid to late next week and transitions to full responsibility starting June 29. The assignment is expected to last 6 to 8 weeks or until a permanent replacement is found.

Location: Cottonwood, CA

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing daily pharmacy operations at the community center
  • Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
  • Work directly with center providers to facilitate seamless patient care
  • Manage compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Pharmacist in Charge
  • Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt and lead within a new system environment
  • Willingness to train on New Leaf pharmacy system
