Pharmacist in Charge in Cottonwood, CA

An immediate full-time opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge to oversee the operations of a community center pharmacy. This contract role begins with training scheduled for mid to late next week, with full-time hours starting June 29. The assignment is expected to last 6 to 8 weeks or until a permanent placement is secured.

Location: Cottonwood, CA
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Interim Pharmacist in Charge, managing daily pharmacy operations
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers at the community center to ensure optimal patient care
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards
• Utilize the New Leaf pharmacy system, with training provided

Desired Experience:

• Recent retail pharmacy experience
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team, supported by skilled pharmacy technicians
• Willingness to learn and use the New Leaf system
