Pharmacist in Charge in Dallas, TX

This opportunity is for a Pharmacist in Charge in the Dallas area, offering a part-time, 13-week contract assignment starting ASAP. This role supports a high-volume retail and mail-order pharmacy handling 1,000 to 1,500 prescriptions daily. Flexible scheduling is available, with a focus on 1st shift and willingness to accommodate day or mid shifts based on candidate availability.

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety
• Manage inbound calls from patients and physician offices relating to medications
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and quality standards
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to provide excellent medication management and customer service

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in California (license active and in good standing)
• Experience working in a high-volume pharmacy setting, preferably retail or mail-order
• Proficiency with pharmacy software, specifically DRx, is preferred
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare providers
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Schedule / Hours:

• Part-time, approximately 20-24 hours per week
• Primarily 1st shift, with flexibility for day or mid shifts as needed
