Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Dayton, Nevada

This interim Pharmacist in Charge opportunity offers a dynamic 6-8 week contract providing essential leadership and operational oversight at a busy retail pharmacy. You'll take charge as the primary licensed pharmacist, ensuring compliance with Nevada Board of Pharmacy (NV BOP) regulations, managing the pharmacy workflow, and supporting an experienced technician team. Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assume full responsibilities as Pharmacist in Charge, conforming with NV BOP standards.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and oversee daily operations to ensure efficient workflow.
• Manage medication dispensing and ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance.
• Collaborate with technicians and support staff to optimize patient service.
• Maintain documentation and reports as required by regulatory bodies.
• Address any operational or regulatory issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid pharmacist license in Nevada with eligibility or willingness to assume Pharmacist in Charge duties under NV BOP.
• Proven experience managing pharmacy operations in a retail setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to guide and support pharmacy staff.
