Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Dayton, Nevada

This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacist to assume the role of Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a 6-8 week contract. The position requires oversight and management of pharmacy operations while maintaining compliance with Nevada Board of Pharmacy regulations.

Location:

• Reno, NV (Dayton, NV area)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, taking full responsibility for the pharmacy's operations in alignment with Nevada Board of Pharmacy requirements.
• Oversee staff activities and ensure accurate dispensing of medications.
• Collaborate with an experienced technician team to maintain a safe and efficient pharmacy environment.
• Maintain inventory control and ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws.
• Address any operational or regulatory concerns that arise during the contract period.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with current Nevada licensure.
• Eligible and willing to assume Pharmacist in Charge responsibilities with the Nevada Board of Pharmacy.
• Proven leadership skills in a pharmacy setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to work effectively with pharmacy technicians and team members.
