A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist In Charge in Abilene, TX, at a well-established pharmacy located in Dyess AFB. This role requires a motivated and experienced pharmacist ready to lead a pharmacy team and drive operational excellence.

Location: Abilene, TX
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Pharmacist In Charge, overseeing pharmacy operations in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Lead and manage pharmacy staff, fostering teamwork and professional development
• Compound sterile and non-sterile preparations accurately and safely
• Ensure proper medication dispensing and patient care services
• Maintain licensure and pursue multi-state licensing as needed to support pharmacy needs
• Support continuous pharmacy improvement and growth initiatives

Qualifications:

• Current Texas Pharmacist License is required
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses over time
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacist, with preferred experience as a Pharmacist In Charge
• Proficient in sterile and non-sterile compounding
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management skills
