An established healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead a new outpatient pharmacy in the Newark, NJ area. This full-time, contract-to-hire role offers a unique leadership opportunity to oversee operations, build a dynamic team, and establish a high standard of patient care in a community pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily pharmacy operations and workflow efficiently
- Ensure full compliance with state, federal, and other regulatory requirements
- Supervise, mentor, and develop pharmacy staff to foster a productive work environment
- Oversee inventory management and maintain quality assurance protocols
- Provide clinical oversight and patient counseling to ensure exceptional care
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and leadership to support pharmacy growth and integration
- Drive the successful launch and expansion of the pharmacy’s services
Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey Pharmacist License required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist-in-Charge
- Strong background in community pharmacy operations and leadership
- Experience using PrimeRx, MicroMerchant, or similar pharmacy management systems is a plus
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
