Pharmacist in Charge in Eveleth, MN

This role offers the opportunity to serve as a Pharmacist-in-Charge at a lower volume retail pharmacy connected to a hospital setting in Hibbing, MN. The primary focus is on managing the pharmacy operations with an emphasis on supporting hospital discharge medication needs.

Location:

• Hibbing, MN (retail pharmacy attached to hospital)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shift only (no nights or weekends)

Duration:

• 13-week contract
• Available to start ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify, fill, and check prescriptions with a high degree of accuracy
• Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate and consult with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications to ensure safe and effective use
• Serve as a working manager, balancing leadership duties with hands-on pharmacy tasks

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist eligible to work in this state
• Previous experience as a Pharmacist-in-Charge preferred
• Ability to manage pharmacy operations and comply with regulatory requirements
• Strong communication skills for patient counseling and provider interaction
