A healthcare facility in St. Charles, MO, requires an Interim Pharmacist in Charge to oversee pharmacy operations in an inpatient behavioral health setting. This contract role is scheduled for approximately four weeks, with the possibility of ending sooner once a permanent pharmacist is hired. The position offers consistent weekday hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including a 30-minute unpaid meal break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Repackage medications utilizing systems such as Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL
- Load drugs into automated machines and generate restock reports
- Maintain accurate records and manage inventory effectively
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Missouri pharmacist license
- Experience with Omnicell technology preferred
- Familiarity with medication repackaging processes
- Basic understanding of automated drug dispensing machines and reporting
