An opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge to support an inpatient behavioral health facility in St Charles, MO. This critical role is needed immediately to ensure continued pharmaceutical oversight and operational excellence during the transition to a permanent hire. The assignment is expected to last approximately four weeks.

Location: St Charles, MO
Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health
Shift/Hours:

  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • 30-minute unpaid meal break

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Manage medication dispensing and inventory control processes
  • Utilize automated drug dispensing systems effectively
  • Supervise pharmacy staff and coordinate with clinical teams
  • Perform repackaging tasks accurately using Milt/Medi-dose or HCL systems
  • Generate and review restock reports to maintain automated machine inventory

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Missouri Pharmacist license required
  • Experience working with Omnicell automated dispensing systems preferred
  • Proficiency in repackaging medications using Milt/Medi-dose or HCL desirable
  • Basic knowledge of loading medications into automated machines and running restock reports
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
