Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Florissant, Missouri

An immediate opening is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge at a healthcare facility specializing in inpatient behavioral health. This role offers a valuable opportunity to provide leadership and pharmacy expertise on a short-term basis of approximately four weeks or until a permanent pharmacist is hired.

Location: St Charles, MO
Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid meal break

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Manage medication repackaging utilizing systems such as Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL
• Operate and maintain automated dispensing machines, including drug loading and restock reporting
• Provide guidance and support to pharmacy staff to maintain high quality patient care

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Missouri Pharmacist License
• Experience with Omnicell medication dispensing systems preferred
• Familiarity with drug repackaging processes and automated pharmacy technologies
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a behavioral health setting
