Step into a pivotal leadership role as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) at a newly built, expanding compounding pharmacy focused on innovative telehealth pharmaceutical services. This part-time opportunity (~20 hours/week) is available immediately to oversee the launch of sterile compounding operations within a supportive, low-stress start-up environment. The pharmacy operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with a small onsite team complemented by extensive remote support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hold full PIC responsibility with your name on the pharmacy license.
  • Provide regulatory leadership ensuring compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws.
  • Oversee the launch and operational integration of sterile compounding services.
  • Review and enhance policies, procedures, and quality standards to align with best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with the upcoming Director of Pharmacy Operations.
  • Offer pharmacist coverage during operational hours as needed.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Active Florida Pharmacist License required.
  • Multi-state licensure highly preferred (FL plus 3–4 from AK, IL, IA, KS, MI, NE, VA, TX, KY, WV; additional states like OH, MA, LA are a plus).
  • Prior experience as a PIC or Pharmacy Manager with comfort holding PIC responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy compliance and operational workflows.
  • Experience in pharmacy start-ups and compounding (sterile or non-sterile) is strongly preferred.
  • Retail background acceptable and willingness to learn compounding processes if needed.
