A newly established compounding pharmacy affiliate of a national telehealth pharmacy network seeks a qualified Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead the launch of its sterile compounding operations. This part-time role offers an opportunity to oversee a growing pharmacy with a strong remote leadership team and a supportive, low-stress work environment.
Location: Doral, FL
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Start Date: Immediate (due to recent PIC resignation)
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge with your name on the pharmacy license.
- Ensure full regulatory oversight and compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws.
- Support and guide operational workflows for the sterile compounding launch.
- Review and update policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with the incoming Director of Pharmacy Operations.
- Provide pharmacist coverage as needed during business hours.
Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Active Florida Pharmacist License required.
- Multi-state licensure is highly desirable, especially in AK, IL, IA, KS, MI, NE, VA, TX, KY, and WV; additional licenses in OH, MA, LA are a plus.
- Proven experience as a PIC or Pharmacy Manager with full responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy compliance and operational best practices.
- Preferably experience with pharmacy start-ups or compounding (sterile/non-sterile).
- Retail pharmacy experience is acceptable.
- Willingness to train on compounding processes if needed.
About the Pharmacy
- Small team of approximately five on-site employees with additional remote clinical and operational support.
- Focused on GLP-1 medications, hormone replacement therapy, primarily female hormones, with potential future expansion into testosterone.
- Has operated non-sterile compounding for one year and is preparing to launch sterile compounding.
