An Interim Pharmacist in Charge role is available at an inpatient behavioral health facility in St Charles, MO, seeking immediate placement. This contract opportunity will span approximately four weeks or until a permanent hire is made. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, including a 30-minute unpaid meal break.

Responsibilities include overseeing pharmacy operations with a focus on inpatient behavioral health medication management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with drug repackaging and automated dispensing systems to ensure accuracy and compliance within the pharmacy setting.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Pharmacist in Missouri (MO License)
  • Experience as a Pharmacist in Charge preferred
  • Familiarity with Omnicell automated dispensing systems
  • Ability to repackage medications using Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL systems
  • Basic knowledge of loading drugs into automated machines and running restock reports
