An immediate opening is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge in an inpatient behavioral health setting. This contract opportunity is based in St Charles, MO, with a duration of approximately four weeks or until a permanent hire is made. The role requires providing leadership and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations during this transitional period.

Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health
Duration: ~4 weeks (contract)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 30-minute unpaid meal break
Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy operations to maintain compliance and safety standards
- Manage medication repackaging processes
- Load medications into automated dispensing machines
- Run restock and inventory reports to ensure adequate medication supplies
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to support patient care
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Missouri Pharmacist license required
- Experience with Omnicell automation systems preferred
- Competence with repackaging medications using Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL systems is desirable
- Basic knowledge of automated medication loading and restock reporting
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
