An opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge to support an inpatient behavioral health facility in St. Charles, MO. This role is essential to maintaining pharmacy operations during a transitional period and is expected to last approximately four weeks until a permanent hire is in place. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid meal break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with regulations
- Manage medication distribution and repackaging processes
- Utilize automated medication management systems, including loading drugs and generating restock reports
- Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care in a behavioral health setting
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Missouri pharmacist license required
- Experience as a Pharmacist in Charge preferred
- Familiarity with Omnicell automation systems highly valued
- Skills with repackaging medications using Milt/Medi-dose or HCL systems considered a strong asset
- Basic proficiency in loading medications into automated machines and running restock reports
