An immediate opening is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge to support a behavioral health inpatient facility in St. Charles, MO. This short-term contract role is expected to last approximately four weeks or until a permanent pharmacist is hired. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid meal break.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pharmacy operations within the behavioral health inpatient setting
  • Manage medication repackaging processes using systems such as Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL
  • Load and maintain automated medication dispensing machines, including generating restock reports
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize pharmaceutical services

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Missouri pharmacist license
  • Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing systems preferred
  • Proficient in medication repackaging techniques and automated system management
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills in a pharmacy setting
