Pharmacist in Charge - Fulton, MO

An immediate opening is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge in an inpatient behavioral health setting. This contract opportunity is based in St Charles, MO, with a duration of approximately four weeks or until a permanent hire is made. The role requires providing leadership and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations during this transitional period.

Location: St Charles, MO
Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health
Duration: ~4 weeks (contract)
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 30-minute unpaid meal break

Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy operations to maintain compliance and safety standards
• Manage medication repackaging processes
• Load medications into automated dispensing machines
• Run restock and inventory reports to ensure adequate medication supplies
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to support patient care

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Missouri Pharmacist license required
• Experience with Omnicell automation systems preferred
• Competence with repackaging medications using Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL systems is desirable
• Basic knowledge of automated medication loading and restock reporting
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
