Pharmacist in Charge in Gardnerville, NV

An opportunity for an interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) is available to provide essential leadership and ensure regulatory compliance at a busy pharmacy location. This contract role is ideal for an experienced pharmacist ready to step into a leadership position and oversee daily pharmacy operations.

Location:

• Reno, NV (initial assignment in Gardnerville, NV with travel to Reno)

Contract Duration:

• 6 to 8 weeks, starting Monday, May 11

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, assuming accountability for all pharmacy operations in compliance with Nevada Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Provide leadership and guidance to an experienced technician team, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service
• Maintain accurate records, oversee inventory management, and ensure adherence to all applicable laws and policies
• Address any operational challenges promptly and effectively to maintain high standards of care
• Collaborate with management to uphold quality assurance and safety protocols

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist eligible and willing to take over PIC responsibilities with the Nevada Board of Pharmacy
• Demonstrated experience leading a pharmacy team and managing daily operations
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices in Nevada
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering teamwork and professional relationships
