Pharmacist in Charge in Gardnerville, NV

A rewarding opportunity exists for a licensed Pharmacist to serve as an Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) providing leadership support for a well-established retail pharmacy. This role offers 6 to 8 weeks of contract coverage, beginning Monday, May 11, with the potential to take over as the PIC licensed by the Nevada Board of Pharmacy.

Location: Reno, NV
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Interim Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations governed by the Nevada Board of Pharmacy
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
• Lead and support the experienced technician team to optimize workflow and productivity
• Manage inventory, prescriptions, and quality assurance processes
• Facilitate smooth communication between staff, customers, and healthcare providers

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active Nevada Pharmacist license and eligibility to assume PIC responsibilities with NV BOP
• Proven experience in a management role within a community pharmacy setting
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to oversee regulatory compliance and maintain professional standards
• Experience collaborating with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals
