Pharmacist in Charge in Garland, TX

A part-time Pharmacist in Charge position is available for a 13-week assignment beginning ASAP in Irving, Texas. This role involves working primarily first shift hours, with flexibility on days or mid shifts to accommodate candidate availability. The pharmacy manages a high volume of approximately 1,000 to 1,500 prescriptions daily, utilizing DRx software for prescription processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle inbound calls from patients and physician offices concerning medication inquiries.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current pharmacist license for California.
• Experience working in a high-volume retail or mail-order pharmacy environment.
• Proficient with DRx pharmacy software or similar systems.
• Strong communication skills for handling patient and provider interactions.

Schedule / Hours:
