Pharmacist in Charge in Garrison, TX

A leadership opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to serve as Pharmacist in Charge at a welcoming retail pharmacy located in a close-knit community. This position entails directing daily pharmacy operations and fostering a family-friendly environment where a positive attitude and collaborative spirit are highly valued.

Location: Nacogdoches, TX
Type: Direct Hire (Permanent)
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily pharmacy operations, including supervision of a skilled team comprising 2 staff pharmacists, multiple pharmacy technicians, cashiers, and a delivery driver.
• Ensure full compliance with Texas state and federal pharmacy regulations, including HIPAA standards.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement programs and patient care initiatives.
• Address and resolve customer concerns in a professional manner.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Texas pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Prior management experience within a pharmacy setting is ideal.
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is a plus.
