- Monday to Friday, Day Shift
- Evening and weekend coverage on an as-needed basis
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
- Manage daily pharmacy operations including prescription dispensing, medication counseling, and provision of patient care services.
- Maintain accurate records for prescriptions, inventory, and controlled substances.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to support safe and efficient pharmacy operations.
- Lead and support pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, promoting a positive work environment and ongoing performance development.
- Oversee inventory management to maintain appropriate medication stock levels while reducing waste.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other partners to resolve medication-related issues.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring high-quality service and timely resolution.
- Stay informed on industry trends, new medications, and regulatory changes, implementing necessary updates to policies and practices.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address compliance or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to infection control and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Active and clear Kentucky Pharmacist license required.
- 2-4 years of LTC pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
- Recent experience in pharmacy management, preferably within LTC environments.
- Strong reliability and attendance are critical for success in this role.
- Familiarity with Frameworks software is a plus; training will be provided.
