Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Grand Bay, Alabama

An interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) position is available with a specialty retail pharmacy supporting dermatology providers. This opportunity offers a contract-to-hire pathway for candidates seeking long-term placement after demonstrating a strong fit.

Location: Grand Bay, AL
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  Duration: Approximately 13 weeks with a possibility to convert to a permanent role

Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy operations as the PIC in a specialty retail setting
• Manage and mentor a team of two pharmacy technicians
• Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws and regulations
• Coordinate nonsterile compounding processes for creams and gels (preferred, but not mandatory)
• Collaborate closely with dermatology providers to optimize patient care

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• A minimum of 1-2 years experience as a Pharmacy Manager or PIC
• Dermatology pharmacy experience is a strong plus
• Familiarity with nonsterile compounding, especially of creams and gels, is advantageous
• Experience with New Leaf pharmacy system is helpful but not required
