Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Greenfield, Massachusetts

This role offers the opportunity to serve as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) in an independent retail pharmacy setting. The position runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for a 13-week contract with potential to transition to a permanent role. You will be the sole pharmacist overseeing a team of three technicians, managing a prescription volume of approximately 100 scripts per day.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations, managing daily operations, and providing excellent patient care. You will utilize Computer RX for order entry while supporting the pharmacy’s commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Massachusetts.
• Proven retail pharmacy experience required.
• Prior PIC experience preferred; however, motivated staff pharmacists interested in advancing to a pharmacy manager role will be considered.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to supervise Pharm Techs effectively.
