A newly established specialty pharmacy in Henderson, NV, focuses on a select range of medications including GLP-1s, allergy treatments, and immunotherapies. This facility recently opened to bring compounding operations in-house and is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead and grow the team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge, ensuring compliance with USP <797>, <800>, FDA, and state regulations
- Oversee sterile compounding workflows, personnel management, and quality assurance programs
- Maintain compliance with multi-state pharmacy laws, including Nevada and California licensing requirements
- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sterile compounding practice
- Recruit, supervise, and train pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
- Manage inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions to ensure ongoing compliance
- Oversee environmental monitoring, validation processes, and documentation efforts
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic operations, licensing initiatives, and business expansion
- Keep accurate records and maintain continuous readiness for inspections
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active Nevada pharmacist license required; California license highly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital, infusion, or specialty pharmacy settings
- Strong knowledge of sterile compounding standards and multi-state regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and team-building skills
- Flexibility to obtain additional licenses as the pharmacy expands operations
- Resides locally in Las Vegas or surrounding areas preferred
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, daytime hours
