Pharmacist in Charge in Henderson, NV

A newly established specialty pharmacy in Henderson, NV, focuses on a select range of medications including GLP-1s, allergy treatments, and immunotherapies. This facility recently opened to bring compounding operations in-house and is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead and grow the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge, ensuring compliance with USP <797>, <800>, FDA, and state regulations
• Oversee sterile compounding workflows, personnel management, and quality assurance programs
• Maintain compliance with multi-state pharmacy laws, including Nevada and California licensing requirements
• Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sterile compounding practice
• Recruit, supervise, and train pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
• Manage inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions to ensure ongoing compliance
• Oversee environmental monitoring, validation processes, and documentation efforts
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations
• Collaborate with leadership on strategic operations, licensing initiatives, and business expansion
• Keep accurate records and maintain continuous readiness for inspections

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active Nevada pharmacist license required; California license highly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital, infusion, or specialty pharmacy settings
• Strong knowledge of sterile compounding standards and multi-state regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and team-building skills
• Flexibility to obtain additional licenses as the pharmacy expands operations
• Resides locally in Las Vegas or surrounding areas preferred

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, daytime hours
