A Tennessee Licensed Pharmacist is needed to serve as the Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) for a remote healthcare at home/home medical equipment operation. This role primarily focuses on compliance, licensing, and regulatory support with minimal onsite responsibilities, making it ideal for pharmacists seeking a low time-commitment position with guaranteed full-time compensation.

Location: Remote within Tennessee, with quarterly on-site inspections in the Nashville area
Contract Duration: 13+ weeks
Schedule: 40 hours per week guaranteed; actual hours worked are significantly fewer
Start Date: ASAP, targeting by the end of October

Responsibilities

  • Act as the designated Tennessee Pharmacist In Charge supporting an out-of-state mail-order pharmacy license
  • Complete initial PIC and Board of Pharmacy documentation for licensing and renewals
  • Perform quarterly on-site compliance inspections in the Nashville area (approx. 1 hour per visit)
  • Review portable oxygen patient accounts for annual prescription renewals
  • Conduct physical site inspections to verify proper oxygen storage and compliance
  • Ensure hours of operation and licenses are correctly posted and current
  • Complete company inspection checklists and report items requiring follow-up
  • Support additional regulatory or compliance tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Tennessee Pharmacist License in good standing
  • Tennessee residency required
  • Minimum 3 years pharmacist experience preferred (less experienced candidates may be considered)
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Comfortable managing PIC responsibilities and regulatory documentation
  • Ability to travel locally for quarterly onsite inspections
