Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Hibbing, Minnesota

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist-in-Charge to serve as the working manager at a retail pharmacy attached to a hospital in Hibbing, MN. This role requires providing oversight, leadership, and direct pharmacy services in a lower volume setting focused on outpatient prescriptions, particularly discharge medications for hospital patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify, fill, and accurately check prescriptions to ensure patient safety
• Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians
• Consult and collaborate with healthcare providers for optimal medication management
• Offer counseling to patients regarding prescription and over-the-counter medications
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations while managing daily operations

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Minnesota with experience as a Pharmacist-in-Charge preferred
• Strong familiarity with retail pharmacy operations, especially in hospital outpatient pharmacy settings
• Excellent communication skills for both patient counseling and provider collaboration
• Ability to oversee a team while managing dispensing accuracy and workflow efficiency

Schedule & Duration:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts only (no nights or weekends)
• Immediate start with a 13-week contract engagement
