A newly established compounding pharmacy affiliated with a national telehealth pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to take immediate leadership in launching a sterile compounding operation. This part-time role offers approximately 20 hours per week in a supportive, low-stress start-up environment with dedicated remote clinical and operational assistance.

Role Overview
As the Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will be responsible for regulatory oversight and maintaining compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws. Your name will be on the pharmacy license, reflecting the full accountability inherent in this role. Support operational workflows during the sterile compounding launch and collaborate closely with the Director of Pharmacy Operations beginning February.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the licensed Pharmacist-in-Charge, ensuring compliance and quality standards
- Review and implement pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Lead the sterile compounding launch alongside experienced pharmacy leadership
- Provide pharmacist coverage during business hours as required
- Support a small, growing team in a specialized compounding environment
Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Active Florida Pharmacist License required
- Holding multiple state licenses preferred; especially from AK, IL, IA, KS, MI, NE, VA, TX, KY, WV
- Proven experience as a Pharmacist-in-Charge or Pharmacy Manager with full PIC responsibility
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy compliance, operations, and regulatory standards
- Preferred experience in pharmacy start-ups, sterile or non-sterile compounding, or retail pharmacy
- Willingness to train on compounding procedures if necessary
