A newly established compounding pharmacy is seeking a qualified Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead its launch of sterile compounding operations. This part-time opportunity (~20 hours per week) offers a low-stress environment supported by a remote leadership team, ideal for a pharmacist with strong regulatory expertise and operational skills.

Role Overview:
As the PIC, you will hold critical responsibility for the pharmacy license and ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations. This position involves providing oversight during the sterile compounding launch, reviewing policies and procedures, and supporting daily operational workflows. You will work closely with the incoming Director of Pharmacy Operations and provide pharmacist coverage during operational hours to maintain smooth pharmacy functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge with license authority
- Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards
- Support sterile compounding service rollout
- Collaborate with pharmacy leadership on operations
- Provide coverage during core business hours
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Florida Pharmacist License is required
- Preferred multi-state licensure with top states including AK, IL, IA, KS, MI, NE, VA, TX, KY, WV for an enhanced fit
- Previous experience as a PIC or Pharmacy Manager with full PIC responsibility
- Thorough understanding of pharmacy compliance and operational workflows
- Experience or willingness to train in compounding (sterile or non-sterile)
- Background in pharmacy startups and retail acceptable

This small site employs around five on-site staff with strong remote support and focuses on GLP-1 medications, hormone replacement therapy, and female hormone products, with potential for testosterone expansion. The pharmacy has operated non-sterile compounding for a year and is preparing to launch sterile compounding operations.
