A 50-bed rehabilitation hospital in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge to provide essential pharmaceutical services in a supportive healthcare environment. This 13-week contract position requires a pharmacist ready to assume the Interim PIC/Director of Pharmacy (DOP) responsibilities, managing daily pharmacy operations and ensuring excellent patient care.
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians
- Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians for optimal patient outcomes
- Manage pharmacy workflows and maintain compliance with hospital policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida pharmacist license
- Hospital pharmacy experience is highly preferred
