A 50-bed rehabilitation hospital in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge to provide essential pharmaceutical services in a supportive healthcare environment. This 13-week contract position requires a pharmacist ready to assume the Interim PIC/Director of Pharmacy (DOP) responsibilities, managing daily pharmacy operations and ensuring excellent patient care.

Location: Jacksonville, FL
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify medication orders with accuracy and efficiency
  • Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians
  • Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians for optimal patient outcomes
  • Manage pharmacy workflows and maintain compliance with hospital policies

Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida pharmacist license
  • Hospital pharmacy experience is highly preferred
