A 50-bed rehabilitation hospital in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge for a 13-week contract assignment beginning ASAP. This role is perfect for a licensed Florida pharmacist who is ready to take on Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) responsibilities without the pressure of being a high-level director of pharmacy.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Day shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and promptly
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient operations
- Provide consultation and collaboration with nursing staff and physicians to optimize patient care
- Manage daily pharmacy functions and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Florida pharmacist license is required
- Previous hospital or inpatient rehab experience is highly preferred
- Willingness to assume PIC duties and responsibilities
