An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist-in-Charge at a 50-bed rehabilitation hospital located in Jacksonville, FL. This contract position spans 13 weeks and emphasizes leadership in pharmacy operations without the pressure of being a superstar Director of Pharmacy. Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
- Consult with nurses and physicians regarding medication therapy and patient care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Support inventory management and medication dispensing protocols
Qualifications:
- Active Florida pharmacist license required
- Previous hospital or institutional pharmacy experience strongly preferred
- Willingness to assume Pharmacist-in-Charge duties
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, day shifts
