An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist-in-Charge at a 50-bed rehabilitation hospital located in Jacksonville, FL. This contract position spans 13 weeks and emphasizes leadership in pharmacy operations without the pressure of being a superstar Director of Pharmacy. Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Consult with nurses and physicians regarding medication therapy and patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Support inventory management and medication dispensing protocols

Qualifications:

• Active Florida pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital or institutional pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Willingness to assume Pharmacist-in-Charge duties
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts
