A pharmacy requires an Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to provide essential leadership and oversight in a 340B pharmacy setting. This role is ideal for candidates holding multiple pharmacist licenses, ready to step in promptly in case of PIC vacancy.
Location: Onsite in New York and California (final details pending)
Duration: 3 to 6 months contract
Schedule: Day and afternoon shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfill all Pharmacist in Charge duties, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence within the pharmacy
- Manage pharmacy staff and workflows while maintaining accurate records and reporting
- Oversee 340B program requirements and maintain adherence to applicable state and federal regulations
- Provide professional guidance and support to pharmacy team members
Qualifications:
- Active pharmacist licenses in multiple states, with priority given to candidates licensed in one or more of the following: AK, AL, AR, CA, IA, ID, IL, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, OR, TN, TX, VA, and WV
- Previous experience serving as a Pharmacist in Charge or in a similar leadership role highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, 340B program guidelines, and operational procedures
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
